Pag-IBIG Housing Loan Contribution Rates

Pag-ibig member is looking for the latest circular on the amendment of the Pag-IBIG Fund
End User Home Financing Program Guidelines as a primary guide on Pag-IBIG
Housing Loan Contribution Rates. HDMF Circular No. 302 is the official circular
and being distributed by the Office of the Housing Development Mutual Fund last
January 31, 2012 to all Pag-IBIG members who are interested to apply for a
housing loan.

Listed below are the following updated requirements to apply for a housing loan:

1.  Prospective member is expected to have at
least twenty four monthly contributions and a member of the Pag-IBIG I Program
during the time of housing loan application.

2.
OFW - (Overseas Filipino Workers) POP members are entitled to avail this
housing program as long as their length of contributions should fulfill and
meet paying on the twenty four month contributions scheme.




3.
 Upon submission of the application form
for a housing loan, Pag-IBIG housing loan applicant is obliged to remit regular
contributions based on the upgraded rate. On the other hand, if the agreed
mortgage is less than the loan amount applied for, Pag-IBIG member will
regularly continue paying monthly contribution which is in line to the bracket of
the approved housing loan.

5.
Lump sum payment of membership contribution is accepted for new Pag-IBIG
members who are planning to avail a housing loan as long as this will
correspond to the desired loan amount in conjunction of the required twenty-four
months membership requirement. This procedure will consider a single
contribution for the application month as of the payment date
.
Pag-IBIG officers will assist you to discuss this matter when you avail this
method.

On
the other hand, Pag-IBIG member who is interested to avail a housing loan but
his contribution doesn’t meet on the bracket requirement of twenty-four months
payment of contribution could opt to pay the remaining months through lump sum
payment

Pag-IBIG
members should follow the updated contribution rates for the computation of
lump sum contribution payment.




Note: Residency requirement
will be discussed during the time when a member is on the process of filing a Pag-IBIG
housing loan.
